Next, ask yourself what you can do to repair the damage left by your sin, and do it.

When we fail to forgive, including ourselves, we are clutching the past so tightly that we can’t embrace the gifts of today and the promise of tomorrow. The one-two punch of accepting forgiveness and then making it right is the key to letting go and becoming free, free to live a life of abundant peace, joy, and love.
